Marcia Crookes fell in love with textiles at school, "I’ve always known that art was what I wanted to do, as it was the only subject besides History and English that interested me." Marcia began with art but whilst living in France she began to buy different fabrics and put them together to create quilts. Upon Marcias return she enrolled on a City and Guilds embroidery, patchwork & quilting course and also became a teacher of these subjects.

Bags a girl cant live without!!
Marcia first started making bags back in 1995 but she has recently setup a brand new website to sell her fantastic and quirky creations, "I enjoy seeing an idea turned into a finished beautiful and practical bag that you can enjoy using and showing-off to all of your friends.
Not only do they look great from the outside, but the linings are just as gorgeous too. I always use the best quality fabrics available such as linens, tweeds, velvets & printed or woven designer patterns and whenever I can I hand-dye or print my own fabrics."

Verdict
The bags are marvellous (my mum has 6 !!) and I have 1 but am planning to add to my collection very soon. In Divine Bridals opinion everyone should own a Marcia bag so we urge you to sit back in your chair and treat yourself to some bag therapy.
